The Australian Clicker Connection

We are clicker trainers and believe in the scientific principles of operant learning for our horses, but we also follow the path neuroscience takes us. Once in a while we come across a horse who needs a helping hand to overcome his or her fears. We do not believe that in every instance clicker training is the best place to start.

Some time ago we acquired a horse that demonstrated to us that clicker training was putting too much pressure on him when he was anxious. We came across a technique that was being used to treat fear and aggression in dogs and with some help adjusted it to use with our horses. We are having great success with CAT -H and interact with like minded people around the world to help people use CAT-H with their horses.
